Plus I like to think I made up for the lack of handmade I had on the weekend -
- Handmade weekend bag
- Tote Bag
- The dress I wore at the shower
- The dress I wore at the post baby shower gathering (My brother in law's family is well known for their gatherings, both in size and length!)
- The quilt I gave at the shower (Which they loved!)
- And the teddy I'm blogging about below

The pattern is brilliantly simple, only two pattern pieces (cut two of each) and you can make any a bear, rabbit or lamb!

I've made two bears (and somehow lost the pattern pieces just for him so it's being replaced at the next good pattern sale I can get it at.) and I now have plans to make the lamb just cause I think he's cute.
Anyway I had a cut out teddy pattern I had never actually stitched up and with a baby shower coming up I thought what better time. Especially as all I needed to complete it was some eyes and a nose! I also added a ribbon around the neck to make her (Her?) look extra cute!

If you've thought about making a bear and been intimidated by the oodles of pattern pieces give this one a try, you won't regret it! I do recommend a walking foot just to help the layers through.
What have you been sewing lately?
