Triangle Pouch

I've been seeing a heap of Triangle Pouches pop in in my Instagram feed lately so when I was looking for a little extra to add into a swap I'm part of I knew I had to try one.  The tutorial is by A Spoonful of Sugar.

I used a cotton drill for the outside fabric, lawn for the lining and a metal zipper as thats all I had.  I probably wouldn't use a metal zipper again as I don't think it sits as nicely as a plain dress zip would as it bend a little better at the top.

I also bound the edges, I'm not sure if I would worry about this step again or if I would just overlock them as it seems to add quite a bit of bulk.  Though that also could be me having the wrong size bias binding.

I can't wait to make another and try out some other sizes.
